We need less crap, not more. Number 1 is counterproductive, as are most of the others. Forget quantity (for profit); focus on quality (for pleasure). Build to last. Make beauty paramount: humans need to feel proud of their work. Eliminate income tax; increase sales tax on non-essentials and much of the over-consumption and pollution goes away. Stop the exploitation of poor nations and help their populations to attain life expectations equal to our own and we no longer have exponential population growth. We don't need a transhumanist reset, we just need people to find their humanity and treat themselves and Nature with a great deal more respect.
